Pilot attends IBS Show

Orlando - Chris Hilsman and Doug Tumlin joined nearly 104,000 housing professionals for the 2007 International Builders’ Show® (IBS), the industry’s largest annual light construction trade show and exhibition, in Orlando, Fla. With more than 1,900 leading suppliers in 300 industry categories, the exposition was the largest in IBS history with a record one million net square feet of exhibits showcasing the most innovative products and services aimed specifically at the residential and light commercial construction industries. Hosted by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the four-day expo began Feb.7 with Grand Opening Ceremonies headlined by renowned Emmy-winning journalist Ted Koppel. GuildQuality recognizes Pilot Builders for exemplary customer service.

Atlanta, GA – Pilot Builders, Inc. was recently awarded the 2007 Guildmaster with Distinction award by GuildQuality, Inc., an independent customer satisfaction surveying firm serving a nationwide community of homebuilders and remodelers. This award recognizes building professionals who have lengthy track records of exceptional customer service. Pilot Builders was formed by Chris Hilsman and Doug Tumlin in 1998, and currently builds around 10 custom homes a year in the gated communities of Reynolds Plantation, Harbor Club, Reynolds Landing, and Cuscowilla. They assist their customers through all stages of construction, including lot evaluation, home and site plans, interior design, construction, and even on going maintenance and small jobs for their past clients. “Being a member of GuildQuality gives us the opportunity to compare our performance with the best builders from around the country” stated Tumlin. Hilsman noted, “It gives us direct feedback to continually improve our operation and it is an honor to receive this award”.
